Job Summary
Conduct installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems throughout the community. Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections, then troubleshoot issues to perform repairs in resident apartments and common areas. Respond to maintenance requests and assist with emergency repairs while participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours support. Maintain grounds, equipment, and building systems to ensure daily operations run safely and in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and completed work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance or building services experience
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as required
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
- Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Healthcare, senior living, or commercial facilities experience
- Valid driver's license
