Job Summary
Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture by collecting and disposing of empty cardboard boxes and trash while assisting the maintenance team with set up, tear down, painting, taping, dusting, cleaning, and mopping. Ensure operational success through housekeeping and organization to attain KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity within a decoration and warehouse environment. Work onsite in a non-climate-controlled setting requiring long periods of standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, with mandatory overtime including Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional technical certifications or vocational training
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, or as part of a team
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers
- Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance
- Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English
