Job Summary
Perform a variety of skilled or semi-skilled tasks related to building service work for upkeep of a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Responsibilities include maintaining floors, cleaning residence hall bathrooms, and using power cleaning equipment. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., have one year of related cleaning experience, and be able to respond to emergencies. Physical dexterity and strength are necessary for heavy work in varied weather conditions. Effective communication skills and a positive customer service attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or G.E.D.
- Ability to operate power-cleaning equipment
- Ability to respond to emergencies
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job
- Ability to read English
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- One-year or more of related cleaning experience
