Job Summary
The Building Service Mechanic position requires an Industrial Electrical Certificate and an HVAC certificate, both from an approved institution, along with EPA Universal Certification. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant work experience and meet educational requirements from the past 24 months. Key responsibilities include handling general maintenance tasks, reading blueprints, and writing reports. A valid driver’s license and passing scores on relevant assessments are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial Electrical Certificate from a Company approved college or recognized trade school
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration certificate from a Company approved college or recognized trade school
- EPA Universal Certification
- At least two years' work experience as a Journeyman or classified as an Office Building Mechanic within the previous 24 months
- Passing score on a written test of technical knowledge
- Ability to handle general maintenance work
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and write clear work reports
- Receiving a 'Recommended' score on the CAST test
- Valid motor vehicle operator license class D
