Job Summary
Supervise Security Officers and monitor alarms, cameras, and patrols to ensure staff adherence and property security. Conduct pre-shift briefings, provide training to personnel, and oversee security across all United Center buildings. Track time and attendance, address performance issues, and communicate key information to management. Be available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed. This role requires PERC Card certification, CPR & AED, and a valid driver's license, with a schedule from 11 PM to 8 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to supervise security team members during assigned shifts
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and write reports
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Security programs
- Ability to solve problems, and handle situations with limited standardization
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience or training
- PERC Card certification
- CPR & AED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up to 1/3 of the workday
- Lift up to 10 pounds for up to 1/3 of the day
- Be available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed
