Job Summary
Supervise Security Officers, ensuring proper performance and compliance with duties and security procedures across all United Center buildings. Monitor alarms, cameras, and conduct patrols to ensure staff adherence and property security. Track time and attendance, address performance or attendance issues, and communicate key information to management. Conduct pre-shift briefings, provide training to Security personnel, and remain available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed. This role operates from 3PM to 11PM.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to supervise security team members during assigned shifts
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and write reports
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Security programs
- Ability to solve problems, and handle situations with limited standardization
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience or training
- PERC Card certification
- CPR & AED
- Valid driver's license
- Stand, walk, and sit up to 1/3 of the workday
- Lift up to 10 pounds for up to 1/3 of the day
- Be available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed
