Job Summary
Tour the facility periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, and vendors while examining doors, windows, and gates for security. Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems in the command center, answer alarms, and investigate disturbances. Handle any problems that arise during events, assist with crowd control inside and outside premises, and support evacuations for fires, storms, or riots. Write incident reports, meet with supervisors to review procedures, and assist HR with recorded data reviews. Maintain expertise in security technologies and run access control reports as needed. This full-time onsite role in San Francisco requires a California guard card and 3+ years of hands-on security experience. Shifts include swing and grave rotations with on-call status.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on security experience
- Possess an active California guard card
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to complete written reports and correspondence
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays as necessary
- Swing Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Grave Shift: 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM
