Job Summary
Provide security for a cannabis facility by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring CCTV and access points, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include investigating and reporting incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when needed, escorting disallowed individuals, maintaining professional conduct with patients, staff, visitors, vendors, and contractors, and performing light facility-cleaning and organizational duties to uphold a safe, compliant environment. Must adhere to company safety, security, and cannabis-specific policies and procedures and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Required background checks and the ability to adapt to new technologies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass state and federal criminal background checks
- Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Physical and Environmental Requirements: able to lift/pull 25 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays
