Job Summary
Join Braun Intertec as an Experienced Building Science Technician to perform field services related to building envelope, component constructability, material analysis, and testing services. Key responsibilities include conducting building enclosure observations and assessments, field fenestration testing, and providing daily reports. The role requires a strong ability to communicate, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and meet physical demands of the job including lifting and working in various weather conditions. Candidates should have a 2-year degree in a relevant field, at least 2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year Associates Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering related field
- 2-years of building enclosure work-related experience
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record
- Computer proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building enclosure and/or window systems installation, testing
- Currently holds or is willing to earn the FGIA Fenestration Associate or FGIA FenestrationMaster Professional Certification
- AutoCAD skills
