Job Summary
Transport portable buildings and perform maintenance/repairs on WMPB buildings; inspect for defects prior to loading, repair defects, tarp/strap/load trucks, and conduct final safety walk-around; transport and reset dealer lots, perform maintenance on buildings, take inventory, and maintain lot displays per specifications; submit mileage and expense reports; stay compliant with DOT regulations and fleet policies; provide regular updates to the dispatcher and fleet manager; requires a valid DL with a clean driving record, ability to pass a DOT physical, basic construction/tool knowledge, strong customer-service skills, ability to travel up to 100% with overnight stays, and experience in driving and/or construction/manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Regular driver's license (DL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT certificate
- Knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and vehicle maintenance practices
- Ability to travel up to 100% with overnight stays
- Minimum 1 year experience driving or in distribution/logistics (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating tractor-trailer (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience with trailer hookups
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to read/write basic instructions and complete reports
