Building Ops & Maintenance Tech - Methodist

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems to maximize occupant comfort and minimize operating expenses. Diagnose, repair, and maintain building structures and equipment while developing effective preventive maintenance schedules and adjusting specifications based on component durability. Provide support on energy management issues and ensure compliance with OSHA, IDPH, and JCAHO code enforcement agencies. Identify areas for improvement in building operations procedures and maintain open communications with office managers and staff across all facilities. Issue accurate daily time records to track costs for outside facilities and participate in the snow removal team. Remain current with state-of-the-art technology and building system advancements to enhance technical skills.
