Building Operator

Building Operator responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BAS, life safety) to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted facility operations. Tasks include water treatment and critical system testing, contractor support, compliance with safety and environmental standards, regular inspections and documentation, preventative maintenance using Angus PM, and incident/occupancy reporting. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, collaborative, and focused on sustainability, with hands-on experience across mechanical and electrical systems, ability to manage tenant work orders, support capital projects and budgeting, and participate in safety drills and emergency procedures. Requires 3+ years in commercial property operations, 5th Class Power Engineering or BES certification (or in progress), strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver’s license, and a passion for sustainability and energy management.
