Job Summary
Building Operator based at Royal Bank Plaza in downtown Toronto responsible for operating and maintaining building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable tenant environment. Identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement, troubleshoot equipment, develop and implement action plans, and collaborate with tenants and the on-site team. Requires 5-10 years in building operations, BES 1&2 or 4th Class Power Engineer certificate, Building Automation System proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies after hours on a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience in building operations and maintenance of facilities with commercial assets such as data centers and/or class A+ office buildings
- BES 1&2 or 4th Class Power Engineer certificate
- Proficient user of a Building Automation System
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and be responsive to time-sensitive tasks
- Flexible in working hours and able to respond to emergencies after hours on a rotating on-call schedule
- Downtown Toronto office experience
- Authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
