Job Summary
Conduct regular site inspections and building rounds to ensure all site safety work permits are acknowledged and adhered to. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including central heating, cooling plants, AHUs, and cooling towers. Troubleshoot building systems, operate building automation systems, and coordinate scheduled shut-downs to minimize tenant impact. Order supplies and spare parts while establishing work completion and punch lists in accordance with Quality Control and Quality Assurance Programs. Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards while participating in site housekeeping. Requires a valid driver's license, 10 years of field experience, and advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain valid driver's license
- Minimum 10 years of Field Experience
- trade school or apprenticeship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to communicate with multiple disciplines - both technical and non-technical
- Advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) – Metasys, Siemens, etc...
- Familiar with the Microsoft office suite in order to prepare reports, format spread sheets and communicates by email
- Be highly focused on customer satisfaction expectations
- Ability to lift 25lbs frequently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Climb and work from ladders and aerial lifts safely
