Job Summary
Meet with homeowners, contractors, and builders to understand project goals and product needs. Prepare accurate material takeoffs, estimates, and quotes for decking, doors, windows, siding, roofing, lumber, and other home improvement products. Sell building materials while managing projects from initial estimate through ordering and completion. Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up using our proven sales process and technology. Collaborate with an experienced team of building materials professionals to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of building materials and residential construction
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience, preferably in the building materials or construction industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn estimating software
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others
Desired Qualifications
- The ability to read blueprints and perform material takeoffs (preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate)
