Building Manager - Full Time

Job Summary
Oversee daily maintenance, care, and construction of Philbrook Museum's buildings and infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, as well as supervising engineering, maintenance, and custodial staff. The Building Manager collaborates with various teams to ensure safety, budget management, project management, and compliance with building codes and standards while implementing safety and emergency protocols. The role requires strong project management skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to perform hands-on tasks when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, facility management, construction management, historic preservation, or related field
- Minimum of five years supervisory experience
- Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings

- Knowledge of construction methods and building systems
- Understanding of local building codes and historic preservation standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills
