Building Management Specialist

Job Summary

Inspect interior and structural areas, exterior grounds, and custodial zones for damage, cleanliness, and safety; report findings and coordinate corrective actions. Monitor and track building service requests using the FLS2 VTB system, resolving operational issues and interpreting established policies. Coordinate with employees, contractors, and vendors to address non-routine concerns, while managing supply needs and miscellaneous GPC-supported purchases. Respond to facility requests and assist with ARCHIBUS conference room bookings and temporary workspace reservations. Apply building management concepts to recommend improvements and make appropriate decisions based on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Knowledge of building or facilities management concepts, principles, and practices
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments effectively
  • Ability to identify facility issues and coordinate appropriate solutions
  • Sound judgment and ability to interpret established policies and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency with facility management and office systems, with the ability to learn systems such as FLS2 VTB and ARCHIBUS
  • May be required to travel within multiple NCR locations
