Job Summary
Perform routine building maintenance, minor plumbing repairs for leaking faucets and clogged toilets, and carpentry work to fix dents, holes, and paint walls. Conduct preventative maintenance on Salvation Army vehicles by monitoring and replenishing fluid levels. Sweep, vacuum, strip, mop, and wax floors while sweeping sidewalks, and assemble or move office furniture including chairs, desks, and bulletin boards. This casual, as-needed position requires up to 20 hours per week between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with availability during core business hours. Applicants need a valid driver's license, ability to perform strenuous lifting, and two years of general maintenance experience or equivalent training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Two years' experience performing maintenance work in a general maintenance environment
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Valid State Driver's License
