Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing resident service requests, preventive maintenance, reconditioning vacant units (including painting and basic repairs), and ensuring grounds are well-groomed. responsibilities include on-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays, responding to resident requests for 24-hour emergency service, monitoring inventory, and performing snow removal as needed. Reports to the Site Manager or Maintenance Supervisor and participates in ongoing maintenance training. Key skills include customer service, basic maintenance knowledge (plumbing/repair), use of own tools, knowledge of commercial/small grounds equipment, prioritizing work orders, and strong troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities. The role supports a fast-paced property-management environment across multifamily housing facilities with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be customer service oriented
- Working knowledge of basic maintenance concepts (plumbing, repair, etc.)
- Must have own tools to perform job task
