Job Summary
Perform a variety of skilled plumbing tasks supporting repair and maintenance of buildings; install and repair plumbing systems (water piping, fire sprinkling, sewer mains), troubleshoot major plumbing breakdowns (clogs, drains), repair/install PVC, copper, galvanized pipes, solder sweat joints, service gas lines and valves, read blueprints, estimate materials, operate heavy equipment, and respond to emergency and routine service calls. Requires ability to read drawings/plans, work independently, establish working relationships, and travel between sites; eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits. Minimum wage considerations and compensation align with location and market rates.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- four (4) years related experience and/or training
- Possession of a valid GA driver’s license; possession of, or ability to obtain, journeyman’s license
