Job Summary
Building Maintenance Technician for a 420-unit residential property in Hempstead, NY. Responsibilities include maintaining apartment homes and common areas, performing repairs (electrical, plumbing, appliances), installing tile and laminate flooring, participating in after-hours on-call rotation, managing turnover of vacant units (including drywall work, painting, and door/window/fixture repairs), and performing other duties as outlined. Requires 3+ years of residential multifamily maintenance, HS diploma or equivalent, experience with electrical/plumbing/HVAC, valid driver’s license, Fire Safety certification, and basic tools.
