Job Summary
Conduct hands-on maintenance on forklifts, Hilo equipment, building schematics, electrical systems, HVAC, and high-speed doors. Perform basic preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and wire 480V 3PH motors using simple diagrams. Operate meters to check continuity and measure voltage, current, and resistance. Work in high places, freezing cold spaces, and various building locations as needed. Requires 1-2 years of Crown forklift repair experience, basic mechanical skills, and ability to lift 100 lbs. Schedule includes Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday shifts from 7:00 pm to 5:30 am.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Crown forklift repair
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 1-2 years experience in Industrial equipment made by Crown Lift trucks
- Basic mechanical skills: Component identification
- Proper, and safe, use of hand tools
- Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance after being shown once
- Basic electrical skills
- Component identification
- Ability to use meter to check continuity
- Ability to wire 480V 3PH motor using simple wiring diagram
- Successful passing of drug screen and background check
- Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
- Machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training
- Ability to perform work in high places
- Ability to work in freezing cold spaces
- Ability to work inside/outside
- Ability to work anywhere within the building where you are needed
Desired Qualifications
- Voltage Ammeter & Ohmmeter (VOM) to measure voltage, current, and resistance- Preferred
