Job Summary
Assist with installations, repairs, and general maintenance on equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and painting tasks. Perform construction duties such as framing walls, installing windows, and repairing roofing systems while preparing job sites and operating county vehicles. Maintain building grounds by sweeping, repairing fences, and spreading gravel, and move furniture and appliances weighing up to 60 pounds. Operate power and hand tools safely, inspect vehicles daily, and follow written instructions for preventative maintenance. Requires a high school diploma, two years of varied construction experience, and a valid Georgia driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible varied experience in building construction, repair and maintenance in more than one of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and painting
- Valid State of Georgia driver's license
