Building Maintenance Technician / Handyman

Job Summary
Perform routine building maintenance, repairs, and general handyman services including painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, and facility improvements. Execute basic plumbing and electrical repairs, conduct preventative maintenance like HVAC filter changes, and maintain grounds and parking areas. Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, operate a passenger shuttle van, and manage tools and maintenance records while following safety procedures. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, valid Texas driver's license, and 3+ years of facilities experience. MedCare Pediatric Group offers medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- 3+ years of experience in facilities, commercial building, apartment, hotel, hospital, property maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Experience safely operating hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
