Job Summary
Building Maintenance Technician in Pittsburgh, PA for Arbors Management Inc. Full-time role responsible for upkeep of an 81-unit Senior & Disabled independent living high-rise. Responsibilities include plumbing repairs (tanks, toilets, sinks, drains), electrical repairs (lights, switches, outlets, breakers, troubleshooting), HVAC (no certification needed; replace PTAC units, clean filters, thermostats), exterior grounds maintenance (grass cutting, snow removal, debris removal), custodial duties (clean common areas, ground-level window cleaning, trash removal). Daylight hours with rotating on-call after-hours and weekend coverage. Must pass drug screen/background check and have a valid driver’s license/insurance.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Electrical skills - Intermediate
- Plumbing skills - Intermediate
- HVAC skills - Beginner (Basic - no certification needed)
- A POSITIVE attitude and willingness to learn
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have driver’s license / vehicle insurance and personal vehicle
