Building Maintenance Tech (Commercial/Facilities)

Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues. Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify safety hazards. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized work. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for recordkeeping. Ensure all work complies with company policies and safety standards. Assist with additional facility projects as assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or related experience
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to maintenance requests
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
