Job Summary
Plan, assign, coordinate, and supervise staff and outside vendors for building maintenance and repairs. Perform skilled work in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, including routine checks, emergency responses, and minor fixes like painting walls or repairing leaks. Conduct quarterly inspections, submit condition reports, and maintain accurate records and inventory for all physical machinery and systems. Instruct employees, monitor work quality and compliance, and evaluate subordinate performance. Drive a vehicle daily to work outdoors in various weather conditions while lifting heavy materials.
Required Qualifications
- Two years course work from a vocational or technical school in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and construction trades
- Four years progressively responsible experience performing skilled maintenance and repair work for commercial buildings and grounds
- One year in a supervisory capacity
- Valid Driver's License
