Job Summary
Perform skilled building repair and maintenance work or supervise semi-skilled workers on the O&M team at the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES main campus in Auburn, NY. Execute repairs for plumbing, heating, electrical wiring, masonry, roofing, and painting; operate power equipment, motor vehicles, and repair pumps, motors, and cooling systems. Make property inspections, estimate materials, keep daily time and material records, and oversee cleaning and grounds maintenance including snow removal. Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a journeyman in one of the recognized skilled trades
- 4 years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience
