Building Maintenance Mechanic

Building Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing facility equipment and systems. Duties include operating and servicing hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance tasks; overhauls of equipment; fabrication of parts; installation and calibration of air conditioning and heating systems; electronic and pneumatic control repairs; daily inspections of doors, dock plates, and support areas; proactive problem recognition and independent troubleshooting using advanced electrical and control skills; repair of racking, batteries/chargers, lighting, and ammonia/Freon refrigeration systems; maintains repair order records; adheres to safety procedures and company policies; requires knowledge of electrical lift trucks, ammonia refrigeration, and warehouse building systems; physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in variable temperatures with PPE; prior two-year maintenance experience and relevant licenses; ability to read hazardous material labeling and follow distribution center policies; capability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and travel to/perform work in multiple store locations as needed.
