Job Summary

Perform routine daily inspections and maintenance on the Distribution Center building exterior and interior. Execute maintenance and repair procedures for dock equipment, including dock levelers, locks, and doors. Conduct painting, plumbing, minor electrical, and construction tasks such as installing racks, shelving, and fences. Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions while performing general grounds keeping and disposal area cleanup. Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

  • One year experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades
  • One year experience in a warehouse distribution operation
  • Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments
  • Ability to operate a forklift, boom lift, light truck and other related motorized equipment
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects
  • Must be able to perceive the nature of sound
  • Must be able to utilize near and far vision
  • Must be able to provide depth perception
  • Must be able to provide oral information
  • Must possess the manual dexterity to handle and work with various materials and objects
