Building Maint Mech Electrician - FT - Day Shift

Construct, inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical lighting, power, alarm, signal, communication, and generating systems for buildings and equipment, including transformers, distribution equipment, controls, motors, and wiring. Operate power tools such as pipe machines, saws, and drills while planning work layouts, estimating materials, and interpreting blueprints and specifications. Supervise and train maintenance workers and laborers assigned to assist in electrical and related work under the direction of a higher-level employee or department head. Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws and regulations, including reading Material Safety Data Sheets. Requires high school graduation or equivalency, three years of experience as an apprentice in the skilled electrical trade, and ability to read, write, and understand English.
