Job Summary
Perform High-Level Inspections: conduct residential and commercial combination inspections, review projects for compliance with ICC codes and local ordinances, interpret and communicate code requirements, document findings, and maintain inspection records. Serve as a trusted technical resource for contractors, developers, and municipalities. Help Grow the Business by expanding relationships and identifying opportunities in the Spartanburg market and surrounding region; build relationships with municipal leaders, contractors, developers, architects, and engineers; support client retention and growth initiatives; identify opportunities for expanded services; represent Bureau Veritas at meetings and industry events; strengthen the company's reputation in building safety. We’re looking for ICC-certified professionals who are technically sharp, collaborative, and able to manage relationships with clients while maintaining high standards of safety and integrity. The role emphasizes autonomy, field work, problem-solving, and growth opportunities, with additional ICC certifications considered a plus.
Required Qualifications
- ICC Residential Combination Inspector Certification
- ICC Commercial Combination Inspector Certification
- Experience performing code inspections in municipal or third-party environments
- Strong understanding of ICC codes and code enforcement practices
