Job Summary
Conduct continuous checks of the building and grounds to ensure general cleanliness and appearance, reporting deficiencies to the site leader and zone manager. Submit routine service requests through the Maximo work order system for repairs beyond your capability and call all emergencies into the Maintenance desk. Maintain intercommunication with evening custodians regarding cleanliness issues in their respective areas. If applicable, maintain a current city license to operate the boiler and manage the swimming pool. This role supports Tulsa Public Schools' mission to inspire students through a safe, well-maintained environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Computer skills and ability to communicate on a professional level (verbal and written)
- Previous experience as a custodian
- One (1) year supervisory experience
- Clear understanding of different cleaning products and equipment
- City license to operate boiler and maintain swimming pool if applicable
- Able or willingness to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
