Job Summary
Lead development and improvement of Building Code requirements; provide technical leadership across the wider Building System; strengthen team capability and ensure high-quality, consistent regulatory advice; manage and guide the Engineering team in development and review of Building Code performance requirements, Acceptable Solutions, and Verification Methods; collaborate across MBIE and with stakeholders; drive continuous improvement in organisational performance; require extensive engineering expertise (structural, fire, geotechnical), senior-level advisory experience, and strong people management and budget skills; role based in Wellington or Christchurch with permanent status; applications via online process.
