Job Summary
Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Address tenant service requests for hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs while troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions. Replace components like light fixtures and filters, and maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance. Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies and assist with preventive maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations, reporting hazards immediately and participating in safety audits. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies and support recovery efforts during severe weather or system outages. Work directly with tenants, contractors, and senior engineers to develop technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience
- Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, crouching, and kneeling
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- CFC Certification preferred
- Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms
