Job Summary
Conduct scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems while addressing tenant service requests for hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs. Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions, replace components like filters and light fixtures, and maintain accurate records of equipment performance. Perform property inspections to identify deficiencies, assist with preventive maintenance, and oversee contractors. Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards immediately; participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies and support recovery during severe weather. Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers while developing technical skills under senior engineers. This 100% in-office role requires standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience
- Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, crouching, and kneeling
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- CFC Certification preferred
- Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms
