Building Engineer

Conduct regular assessments of building systems and perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for interior and exterior equipment. Manage work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems while maintaining an ongoing task list for the property management team. Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing their check-in/out process, escorting them to work areas, and documenting completed tasks. Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections while ensuring a safe job site that adheres to company, OSHA, and client-specific safety standards. Work the 1st shift at two medical office/hospital buildings in Grand Island, NE, with a high school diploma or GED required and 3-5 years of commercial building operations experience preferred.
