Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with little supervision. Perform preventive maintenance, visually inspect tools, and operate shut-off valves. Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities to other shifts. Troubleshoot and repair MEP systems, including pump replacements, plumbing, and electrical work. Program TVs, assist with painting and drywall repair, and follow Lockout/Tagout protocols. Train and mentor Engineer I staff while performing Engineer on Duty rounds.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
- Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- No supervisory experience
