Building Engineer - Aspen Crossing Elementary School

Job Summary
Perform building preventative and outdoor maintenance and repairs across district schools, including cleaning, graffiti removal, wall patching and painting, moving items within the building, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks. Support school activities and events by setting up and cleaning up, open buildings at established times, and handle outdoor maintenance such as sweeping, trash removal, snow/ice removal, and annual exterior pressure washing. Respond to all school radio and cell phone requests for service, assist with emergency biohazard cleanups when needed, and audit facilities to report maintenance needs. May be temporarily reassigned to other district schools to cover vacancies and perform other related duties as assigned. Must be able to work flexible hours and operate in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
