Job Summary

Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and control systems to keep facility equipment performing to applicable standards. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts, while recording equipment readings and adjusting parameters to identify potential issues. Monitor outside contractor work for quality and pricing, manage facility services and inventory control, and troubleshoot lighting and plumbing fixtures. Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace. This role requires 5+ years of experience maintaining commercial building systems, proficiency with CMMS, and the ability to work 10PM to 6:30AM Sunday through Thursday. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
  • Ability to analyze the operation of various industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of problems or malfunctions, and take corrective action
  • Working knowledge of CMMS (i.e. Corrigo)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Physical ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work exposed to varying environmental conditions including heat, sunlight, rain, cold, and both daylight and nighttime hours
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • EPA 608 Type II Certification or higher for refrigerant handling
  • Additional EPA certifications (Universal certification preferred)
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Trade certifications or technical school training in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing disciplines
  • Experience working in mission-critical facilities or environments requiring 24/7 operations
