Job Summary
Lead and provide technical oversight for complex building enclosure investigations, forensic evaluations, and consulting projects from pursuit through completion. Serve as the primary client partner, directing investigations involving façade, roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope performance issues. Oversee field investigations, damage assessments, cause-and-origin analyses, and the development of repair recommendations, drawings, and specifications. Act as an expert witness or technical expert in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials while leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams. Drive business development, proposals, and strategic growth of the Building Enclosure practice, ensuring project financial performance, quality, and schedule adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
- 15+ years of progressive experience in building enclosure consulting, forensic investigations, and engineering leadership
- Extensive experience with façade, roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure investigations, assessments, and rehabilitation of complex projects
- Proven ability to develop client relationships, grow a book of business, and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or PhD
- Experience serving as an expert witness or supporting litigation matters
- Additional building enclosure credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, RBEC, etc.)
