Job Summary
Building Enclosure Project Manager in Nashville, TN, hybrid-flexible with in-office presence 3x per week and up to 50% travel. Responsible for managing enclosure consulting projects, reviewing plans and specs, performing field testing (water leakage, roofing, waterproofing, walls), conducting factory inspections, preparing technical reports, and supporting senior staff while building client relationships. Requires design review of drawings, experience with shop drawings and mock-ups, Bluebeam proficiency, and the ability to work independently and with a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in Building Enclosure consulting industry
- Technical understanding and knowledge of building enclosure systems and construction
- Experience in managing a range of small to large projects
- Field experience or strong interest in working onsite
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications
- Ability to perform office tasks and physical labor tasks
- Ability to perform work from ladders, boom-lifts, scaffolds, swing stages, roofs, etc.
- Ability to efficiently work on projects independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Solid technical writing and communication skills
- Consistent and professional interaction and communication with clients and project team
- Fluent in English for the safe and effective performance of the job
- Ability to travel up to 70% outside the local area, depending on local workload and project locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
