Building Custodian (Evening, Newton)

Evening part-time custodians needed to provide cleaning services for medical buildings, offices, or light industrial facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; collecting trash and replacing liners; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures; wiping windows, glass partitions, and mirrors; dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; dusting and cleaning overhead vents; maintaining orderliness of the custodian’s closet; communicating with supervisor to ensure cleaning quality and customer service; following safety guidelines; using cleaning solutions and equipment per specifications; reporting abnormal conditions to management; ensuring chemicals and equipment are available and in working order; recording arrival/departure times and using the company app on a personal smartphone. Hours: Part-time Evening. Compensation: $10-$14/hr. Custodians are paid per building; average experienced custodian makes $13/hr. Minimum requirement: must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
