Job Summary
Commissioning Project Manager to oversee the commissioning process for capital construction and operational readiness projects across life sciences, semiconductors, and mission-critical industries from design through post-occupancy. Lead planning, execution, and delivery of commissioning activities; develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resources, and risk assessments; coordinate with engineers, construction managers, designers, technicians, and clients; monitor performance and economics; ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards; facilitate cross-functional team meetings; act as primary liaison between clients and internal teams; travel to project sites as needed. Strong background in facilities/mechanical/electrical engineering, extensive PM experience, proficiency with Procore and commissioning/PM software, and a proven ability to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience executing and leading the commissioning process
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for commissioning projects within capital construction, life sciences, semiconductors, or other mission-critical industries
- Strong knowledge and proven experience both leading and executing the commissioning process
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
- Proficiency in creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required, including out-of-state travel
