Building Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary
Oversee and execute the commissioning of MEP and control systems on complex projects; develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and testing procedures, create system-specific Pre-Functional Checklists and Functional Performance Test protocols, assist with design review of MEP systems, coordinate field activities with technicians and trade partners, perform functional performance tests to verify system performance against design parameters, troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, efficient operation, prepare and review test reports and commissioning documentation, ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations, and travel to job sites as required while collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in life sciences, semiconductors, or other mission critical industries
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Familiarity with commissioning procedures, testing methodologies, and industry standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to travel to job sites as required, including travel out of state, as needed
