Job Summary
Building Cleanliness Technician at YMCA of Rapid City responsible for custodial tasks to maintain clean, safe facilities. Duties include distributing towels, monitoring locker rooms, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with YMCA and OSHA safety policies. Requires CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days, ability to read and use electronic devices, and 6+ months of related experience. Shift is typically 5:30 pm–1:30 am, with part-time options available several evenings; must be 18+ years old and able to work in a community-focused environment. Strong interpersonal skills needed to relate to diverse groups.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Six months or more of related custodial/ facilities experience
- Basic proficiency in reading and utilizing electronic devices
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with volunteers, members, and staff
