Job Summary
Provide instruction in the assigned subject as a substitute for the regular teacher, following the lesson plans outlined by the classroom teacher. Maintain established routines and supervise students during class, lunch, and activity periods. Submit written reports on the day’s activities, remain on school grounds during assigned hours, and model nondiscriminatory practices while adhering to school policies. Requires ability to sit/stand for extended periods, read a computer screen and printed material, communicate clearly, and lift up to 25 pounds. High school diploma required; two years of related experience or further education preferred.
