Job Summary
Monitor and manage building automation systems (BAS, fire systems, and research equipment) to maintain parameters such as temperature, humidity, and pressure; follow SOPs/OIs, perform troubleshooting, enter issues into Maximo, generate trends and reports, and coordinate with maintenance staff and BAS engineers. Serve as first responder for equipment trips and unexpected shutdowns, support commissioning and energy-efficiency initiatives, and maintain change-control and lockout/tagout documentation. Requires 3–5 years of BAS/HVAC experience and a High School Diploma or GED. On-site role located in North Brunswick, NJ, with a salary range of $80,000–$100,000 per year; no visa sponsorship and no relocation stated in the description.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 – 5 years of experience working with building automation systems
- 3 – 5 years of experience working with HVAC equipment in an industrial/commercial environment
- Knowledge of automation system architecture
- Experience with Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
