Job Summary
Take the lead in programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) while troubleshooting complex HVAC and lighting control issues. Ensure smooth system upgrades and compatibility, configure field devices, and interpret engineering schematics. Collaborate with project teams and mentor junior technicians, ensuring compliance with local codes and cybersecurity standards. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with BAS installation, programming, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience with one or more major BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, JCI Metasys, Alerton)
- Niagara N4 Certification
- Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Distech, Siemens P1, JCI FX, Honeywell WEBs)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment
- Proficient in networking (IP addressing, BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
- Strong programming and logic development skills for DDC controllers
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and lead project tasks with minimal supervision
