Building Automation Systems Analyst III

Job Summary

Review daily Fault Detection and Diagnostics findings, validate alerts using BAS trends, and perform root cause analysis to distinguish actionable issues from false positives. Coordinate with operations teams to dispatch corrective actions, define acceptance criteria, and verify that resolved faults do not reoccur. Manage recurring false positives and duplicate detections by refining diagnostic quality and correcting point mapping or configuration inputs. Translate complex system findings into clear, prioritized work requests for controls programming and facilities operations, ensuring tickets include necessary technical details to reduce rework. Maintain documentation for triage practices and reporting standards to support continuous improvement of the FDD program.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)
  • Level 2 Background Check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse
  • valid Class E driver's license
  • authorized to work for any U.S. employer
  • reside in Florida as of the date the employment begins

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience designing, programming, commissioning, and supporting Willow Building Automation Systems
  • experience with Tracer SC+/Enterprise and UC controllers
  • experience in large or complex facilities
  • Strong knowledge of DDC controls
  • knowledge of HVAC sequences of operation
  • knowledge of airflow
  • knowledge of hydronics
  • knowledge of system integration
  • experience in retro‐commissioning
  • experience in performance optimization
  • Demonstrated experience using system analytics
  • experience using trend data
  • experience using performance metrics
  • Proficiency with BAS networking concepts
  • Proficiency with databases
  • Proficiency with HMI/graphics development
  • experience working alongside cybersecurity teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • Experience in higher education
